"The Camp
Located int the heart of thriving Oshawa City is a beautiful forest, this forest is home to the many Scouts of Whit Pine Council, as well as the vast array of wildlife that is always present.
The Lake
Samac Lake is often seen empty, but a rare few (you, the patron, will be counted amongst these few) are lucky enough to see this majestic lake full to the waterline! When full this lake supports fish, small duck families, and adventurous Canoeists(thats where you com in)!
The Facilities
Camp Samac is host to a wide variety of facilities, even featuring a public city pool! Some of its choice cabins include the freshly renovated Kitchy Lodge, as well as the Two story log cabin; Cabin 1. These only some of the 11+ cabin on the property! Camp Samac also features massive Rec fields, beautiful fire pits, wandering paths, and our very own Camping Supply store!
The Nature
Camp Samac is home to a great many species of animal and plant. The vegetation ranges from the magnificent White Pine, to the lesser know and rarely recognized wild asparagus(I'm serious)! On a average day the quiet explorer can view several turkeys, deer, rabbits and other assorted animals running wild in the Camp.
